Gianandrea Sassoli joined the advisory council of the GICAM Foundation in 2023.

 

He is currently manager and partner of the family business, responsible for the industrial and investment area of Stainless Steel Center and Steel.s Poland.

 

Graduated in law, he has been present in the steel sector for over 30 years, building his specialist knowledge in the metal sector and in particular in stainless steel flat rolled products first at the company. Mexinox, then Krupp Hoesch international and KruppThyssen Nirosta.

 

He was Vice President of the Sassoli Group, dealing with the commercial networks of Sarinox Metalli, Lare Acciai and TK Acciai as well as President of Triaton Italia, SAP partner. Then CEO of Schmolz+Bickenback Acciai Speciali.

 

The Sassoli family has been involved in social work for over three decades, supporting the Ecuadorian mission with the Los Ninos de Quito project.
